Nas Reads my Blog.

In my Best Hip Hop Albums of 2006 post I said this about Nas and his track "Where are they now?" :
He does it fairly well on a couple of tracks such as "Hip Hop is Dead" and "Where Are They Now?", but others fall short of the theme. He could have developed it more by incorporating more breaks, more guest stars from the Golden Age. Can you imagine Nas and MC Lyte trading bars? Kool Moe Dee on the intro? How about a DJ track? That was a hip hop staple. Don't just talk about these dudes (see the favorite track), get them involved.
Well, Mr. Nasir Jones must read my blog. These tracks were just released by Nas.
Nas-Where are they now? (80's Remix) Ft. MC Shan, Raheem (Furious Five), Doctor Ice (UTFO), Kangol (UTFO), Kool Moe Dee, Sha Rock (Funky Four +1), Tito (Fearless Four), Grandmaster Caz (Cold Crush Brothers), Lique (Isis of X Clan), Dana Dane, Pebblee Poo & Just Ice
Nas - Where Are They Now (West Coast Remix) Ft. Breeze, Kam, King Tee, Candyman, Threat, Ice-T, Sir Mix-A-Lot and the Conscious Daughters (with scratches from DJ Bobcat).

its worth noting that Pac Fu is uncredited on the 90's remix. He spits between Lords and Dres.
