I WOULD BE IN THE LIBRARY EVERY DAMN DAY!
Emma and I recently found a sweet, secret study spot that is less than a block from my apartment. The Thomas M. Cooley Law School Grand Rapids Public Library, located on Oakes and Commerce. The building has been completely refurbished, when I lived above Elite Restaurant - I used to drink coffee on the deck and watch them work on this building every morning. The place is open until midnight, has wireless internet, but a grumpy doorman.
When I lived on S. Division in 2001-2, I used to spend my time exploring empty/abandoned buildings. Lately, now that I have moved back to S. Division, I have been poking my head into more and more newly inhabited space.
I also found where the kitties on the street live, more on that later.
its not a secret anymore :(

Nice find. I love when something is right under our noses and then someone sort of "discovers" it.
I'll ahve to hit the place up.
Do they ask for id or anything?
