On Septerber 24, 2008 animal rights activist and Farm Sanctuary president/co-founder, Gene Baur, spoke and shared his new book as part of a tour for his nationally best selling book, Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food. This event was put on by local animal advocacy group, Students for Compassionate Living
