Hip-Hop Cinema: Dave Chapelle's Block Party @ Wealthy Theatre

Grand Rapids Hip-Hop Coalition, in partnership with Community Media Center and The Sebastian Foundation, present a "Reel 2 Reel" Hip-Hop Cinema night at Wealthy Theatre.

Dave Chapelle's "Block Party" starts at 8PM on Thursday, May 22. Doors open at 7:30PM. Admission is $3. This film is rated "R" for language, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Filmed in Brooklyn, this mix of comedy, interviews and music will be shown in Dolby 5.1 at Wealthy Theatre, in the Peter Wege Auditorium. We'll be mixing in our Premium Sound System

This event is part of the Grand Rapids Hip-Hop Coalition (GRHHC) weeklong celebration of Hip-Hop Appreciation Week. Look for other events during the week, including Friday night's Hip-Hop Awards show -- as well as seminars for young men and women, also taking place at Wealthy Theatre and the Wealthy Theatre Annex, during the week.
