Digital Ritual is an upcoming exhibition that will be on display at the Open Concept Gallery April 1st-17th, 2009.
The exhibition features artists from around the country who work in a wide range of mediums that include video, sound, photography, and performance.
Much of the influence for the show came from the curatorial team’s interest in the unique architectural features of the Open Concept Gallery. The space was originally constructed to be a Masonic temple.
The opening of Digital Ritual marks the 4th annual international SMart Festival. The Open Concept Gallery founded this annual multi-genre series of events in 2006 to showcase innovative multimedia art works by young emerging artists.
The OPENING RECEPTION will be THURSDAY, APRIL 2nd, 2009 7-9 pm.
The CLOSING RECEPTION is in conjunction with Division Avenue's annual Spring for the Arts event on FRIDAY, APRIL 17th 6 pm to 11 pm.
