what a great day!

Today was such a good day!

WORK
I beat my boss to work. I got to go to Sparta to meet with one of our printers and got a free lunch. Because I was so late coming back from that meeting, I had to stay until 6:30 tonight, which means sleepin' in tomorrow. I sent my mailing to the printer. All the stuff I hate to do at work may be moving to our temp. Hell yeah! No more data entry for me.

FAMILY
My dad is sending me some $$ for my down pymt on a car. I had a conversation with my mom that didn't end with yelling or tears for one or both of us. YAY!

MISC.
I somehow won the G-rad bracket thingie. I don't even understand what that is! I just found out about "brackets" like 3 weeks ago. And already I'm a natural!!!

ACADEMICS
I got home and there was a letter from GV -- apparently I graduated!!! I was wondering when that was going to happen. Yippeee!!! I'm a winner!

My days actually started to go really great circa hmm.... Friday when I went out with folks from my old job and got free chicken strips and booze. Accidentally broke Lent, though. Whoops!

Saturday was good too: It was my friend Mukhlis's crazy Russian birthday party. There was meat on a stick, copious amounts of vodka, I learned "las gingka", and I threw my neck out slow dancing. Mukhlis's brother paid me a compliment -- after seeing my 66+ kilo weight he said, "Well, you still look really good." [Also, someone I didn't know sort of touched my butt. Mixed feelings about this. It's sort of like my hair, I really do prefer that people I don't know well ask first.]

All in all, things are looking up. I think I'm going to go make a veggie sandwich!!!
