i agree too. especially with the scottish accent. what is it with removing beautiful accents from people? they do the same with david tennant and it makes me sad.

Guys you do realize how uncomfortable all this would be if he actually read it :)). How would you feel ? Let us not forget that above all he's a real person, with other activities then what he does in movies. So, take his example on this and go out, meet some real ppl :P

I dont really think James would b all that uncomfy if he read this, i mean, he's an insanely talented, not to mention, WANTED (pun intended), actor. Didnt he sign up for all this when he decided to go into acting? All this Fanatisism, adoration...blogs? He knew it was the price to pay if he made it big. So im sure he'd accept this, and feel kind of blessed and touched that so many people love and admire him. Not just because he's absolutely beautiful, great with accents,(tho his rocks), and seems like an excellent human being, but because we're all here, spending hours of our life actually appreciating his talents and contribution to our world.

So with that being said...I wish I'd grown up in Scottland instead of Miami. I wish I had met him before his triumph in the movie biz b/c I totally would've been attracted to him if i'd seen him walking around. I wish he'd read this, leave his wife, and b mine forever more...

Oh my, I think James McAvoy is one of the best actors Ive seen lately. Did you watch The Last King of Scotland?? If not, go and watch it NOW. It´s a great film, awesome story, and James gives many of his lovely smiles during it :-) I loved Atonement, so much so Im reading the book now and I have to say he played a great Robie. Becoming Jane was great (apart from Anne...) and he was lovely. Oh, I agree with pretty much most of what you said, specially about his accent :-) And Im gonna watch Wanted and try to close my eyes whenever Jolie appears. Yay for James!

I too have read the blog, and the comments that followed, and I would agree that James McAvoy is a real person. And none of you know about his real life; needless to say that you should comment on his marriage, despite what you think you may know of a person to whom you also really don’t know anything about, except her age and acting roles as if that should be the foundation of love. I apologize it I have offended anyone for that was not my intention. It can not be tested that he is a great actor with wide range and I hope and wish him all the best luck in the future.

Thought I was the only James Mcavoy obsessed person! Nobody I know understands his perfection and, quite frankly, I think there just plain stupid. Maybe it's just because I'm from the Netherland and people here have bad taste or something..

I'd read the book long before it was made into a movie and LOVED it, and when I found out James McAvoy was playing Robbie, it was like Christmas morning for weeks on end! OMG, I'm so happy to see that there are so many other women out there obsessed with James. Other than Keira Knightley, it was one of the most haunting and moving pictures I have ever seen. I personally loved 'Atonement'. I mean, the movie wasn't meant to be all about James McAvoy. Just because it wasn't about him, doesn't mean it wasn't a good movie (As a few of you stated above). His role as Robbie blew me away!
