Everyone keeps asking me 'what are you doing now that you're graduated?' - the most frequently asked question to any new graduate. My answer: looking for a job. But one thing I have committed myself to is volunteering for the campaign against the so-called "Michigan Civil Wrights Initiative"- the proposal that will be on the ballot in November that would have a huge impact in the state. Interestingly, its not from Michigan, its not Civil, its not
Right, and its not an Initiative- its an amendment to the state constitution.

word. this is old school carpet bagger political manipulation. I saw a poll on wzzm 13 yesterday, over 70% of the people wanted to ban affirmative action. It is hard to live in a time when that many people don't understand the society they live in and the drastic inequalities around them.
