hey thom, im pretty sure the letters were suppose to be sent right before the video went up. thats part of the excitement. watching the video when its released to see what happened. the only reason teh final 3 got a special heads up was becuase this next challange is very extensive, and we wanted to give them more time... and don't actually have more time to give them. so sorry you had to find out the awkward way, sometimes it takes us awhile to get together and draft things, weekends are busy times and both steve and i are out of town.

And also? (This could be called sucking up, but I promise I'm not a liar. I pretty much never, ever lie. Not even white lies. Perhaps that's why I might be going home. WAH.): When I was 15? I totally would have had a crush on you.
But as you've seen, the feeling would not have been mutual!! I grew into my looks, let's just say.

That Woody Allen interview is in a book I edited when I was still a book editor--a compilation of Bill Zehme's writings. (Bill Zehme is a great, great guy. And super tall).
