I was really worrying about Flight of the Conchord's second series. what, with its crudeness and lack of funny getting in the way of a lot of what i loved about the first series: brett and jemaine's adorable naivety. and the funny. But oh man, episode six totally brought it for me by including almost everything i love about real life: Kristin Wiig, R Kelly's Double Up, and epileptic dogs. I had an epileptic dog. I loved him.

FOTC mimicking R Kelly sounds a lot more like NO KIDS mimicking R Kelly than the man himself. But who am i to complain?
Audrey's yoga class must have totally worked because it snapped me out of this wicked seasonal change funk. Today I arose at the desired hour for the first time in a very, very long time. Early enough to stop by Marie's for a KT Special before work. Special day indeed. I don't know about the rest of you, fellow classmates, but my only "intention" was preventing crotch blowout. lessons learned on special days.
Today is also special because of this:
New work by all-star roommate Todd Freeman ya'll. Guaranteed to be the best opening in town tonight. unless there is another one i don't know about that is somehow better in some way, but i highly doubt it. so, see you there?
