Stanislaw Lem has passed away. He was one of the first and most prolific science fiction writers, coining the term "astronaut" and predicting the world wide web and the moon landing (which, if i remember correctly, he imagined as a psychedelic adventure complete with colossal christals and psychological anguish), and he was also good at drawing.
