I stumbled upon this reading Wired Magazine's webpage. At first I wasn't sure. But now I think I like it. I'm all for public art that's transient and idiosyncratic. And it's just plain funny. It gives a nod to Cleas Oldenburg but takes it a step further, into space. Read the Wired article, my favorite part is about how the entire sculpture will burn up upon re-entry.
