MAD GREENS: FAST FOOD'S GOLD STANDARD

I'm currently in Denver helping cover the Denver Film Festival with Spout.com. It's really hard work, long hours, lots of running around. I've been trying to eat well (and fast), so luckily I found this place called Mad Greens.

mad greens in denver

They have many great salads. You can create your own by choosing from a huuuuge list of ingredients. They also have fantastic paninis. Even with all the salad choices, I had to get my old favorite:

ceasar salad
Hail Ceasar, King of Salads.

I hope we get one of these place in Grand Rapids soon.

COMMENTS:
this guy patrick recently told me about a vegetarian fast food place he used to work at in ypsi.

it closed down. he said it was too far away from the college for it to work.

too bad, it seems like such a good idea.

my mother is from georgia, and its a southern tradition to start the new year with a plate of black eyed peas for good luck. Pictured here with collared greens and accompanied by a refreshing glass of apple cider - which is a michigan tradition for delicious! geo.
