Friday night at 7:30 until 9:30 St Cecilia's Music Center you can catch a spring Orchestra POPS concert with a special guest performance by the River Rogues Jazz band. The cool thing about this is it is totally Free and if you haven't seen a show at St Ceclia's this is a geat opportunity the space is totally goregious. Those Grand Valley Professors have been storming the GRAM lately this Friday night from 7 until 7:45 catch a lecture by Professor Norwood Viviano (sculpture guy) presenting "new work" Location GRAM Cost 5$

Saturday night the Super happy Funtime Burlesque show presents a Very Specail Edition of kids shows gone array, call it a spoof, but don't call this show kid friendly..... Live music, free Prizes and some raunchy sexy kiddie fun. It is a little late to preorder tickets so... Location Wealthy Theather. 1130 Wealthy, Cost $10 doors at 7pm!
Saturday you can get nostalgic for Grunge. The Intersection is hosting "Sounds of Seattle" including a Pearl Jam Tribute band and a Nirvana Tribute band. The show is 17 and up doors at 8pm. Tickets are $12 the day of the show. Location 133 Grandville Ave SW
WYCE is kicking off their Hat Trick Series May 5th, (Cinco De Mayo) with "Mulebone" at the One Trick Pony beginning at 7:30 Pm, so you bring a donation, a goup of friends, grab some dinner appreciate some acoustic blues support the West Michigan Blues Society's Blues in the School Project. Location: 136 East Fulton Cost: Free with Donation when they pass the Hat!
Monday at the DAAC welcome "Auryn" from Pittsburgh and "Shattered Badge."

The UICA is doing a call for entries, you have to be 18 and the work should have the following qualities, it can be hung suspended, rolled pushed inflated folded or moved off the floor. Accepted works will be exhibited during the 2008 national public sculpture conference you can download a form at www.uica.org... Also do it today because submissions are due on the 15th of May!
