so... im pretty positive i will do this. summer of 2008

i will go on a jazz / free jazz tour. a trio. standup bass (me), a drummer, and a horn player.

we will WALK everywhere. pulling our shit around in a wagon or two. and sleeping in a tent in between cities. we will play all the fucked up along the way towns. some nice jazz and get noise shows set in some of the bigger cities.
i just need to find a drummer and horn player. i know a sax player that might be interested.

it will be totally old time wandering mistrel shit.

yeah im pretty determined to do this.

the past few weeks ive had these urges to just walk forrest gump style.

things are finally good.

my laptop died super hard the other day so hard that it wont even turn on
so... i got moms old new business desktop
and it takes up my entire desk.
keyboarding on my lap and mousing on the little fridge next to my chair.
bum yeah
and there was this rad show we played last night. and for the first time ever we were able to actually bring in enough money at macs to pay winters in osaka from chicago so they could get home because there set got totally fucked by another noiser they were collabing with. he super overpowered everything. and it was embarrassing. and bennett retired. so we trashed
awkwardly
in memory of him as a two piece.

our first try at drum and bass free jazz
turn out pretty nice in my opinion
although it lacks direction in places.
it will progressively get better
i hope
mixing isnt great but its ok
bass is a little quiet.
sax or horn would be a nice addition.

mellower minimaler fun or our first try

funner aggressiver better session in my opinion
