REAL TIME PROJECT NUMBER 1:
CURIOUS LACUNAE (a CD/TAPE/VINYL(hopefully) MUSICIANS LABEL BRINGING weird, harsh, and minimal)

as a start we bring a piece of "pretentious art fag trash" by me myself, sam snedeker, based on Erik Satie's masterwork? VEXATIONS.
a familiarity with this piece can easily be born HERE. in this particular adaptation, the infectious melody of satie is performed solo on stand up bass and recorded straight to tape. after an adequate amount of time the untouched performance is put to a stop and the attention moves to the tape itself. using all too common techniques the tape is mangled, recorded, overdubbed, wash rinse and repeat until almost no resemblance of the original work is audible. the tape is then slowed down and dubbed to a new clean tape. the contents of this clean tape are what is being offered today. a quiet piece of repetition that in all hopes captures the spirit of Satie.
