That's a lot of Not Dogs!
Treehugger reports that a bunch of hungry vegans in Austin, TX are apparently blazing new trails in a movement previously thought to be reserved for omnivores. Should the G-RAP follow suit?
Totally. Let's do it. but not hot dogs, cause i dont want to eat that much soy, and they are hella expensive.
maybe zucchini eating. or a mixed veggie tempura. or veggie burger contest

That's kind of funny, maybe the runner up will throw up all over himself like the guy in the last real-dog eating contest! As a tribute to veganism and the ability of vegans to have just as much fun as anyone else, I think it's a great idea. One thought though, if veganism is also a reflection on changing consumption habits in general towards a more healthful, moderate, and less consumerist-oriented bent ...? The hot dog contest has recently kind of struck me as a case study in excess and waste. But the other part of my brain is telling me this sort of thing shouldn't be taken too seriously!
