not that i don't fully share this fear, and i don't think there is any doubt about human's part in fucking up the climate, but apparently scientists say that the climate has gone up and down in waves like this always, and the fact that we are on the upward curve alone is no reason to believe that it will go on like this, it might change and go down within this decade again, and then all the anti-environmentalists (!!) could say that the environmentalists are full of shit and don't know what they are talking about and that there is no reason to change any of their policies and they will keep dumping co2 until we REally blow up.

although its of course totally conspicuous that it starts going up with the beginning of european industrialization. right. and really took off when global industrialization really took off too.

But, we can see the effects of it now....larger storms, dying animals, droughts in the rainforest, floods everywhere, etc...

technically the storms are the effects of the warming, and the cause of the warming is what people are debating on.
