I have made an enemy on myspace. I don't really have a beef with them, but I think they have one with me now. Today, I received a Myspace Message. It was from a Rock / Experimental / Electronica group called, Protecious. The message read:
"I thought maybe you'd be open to checking out some Original Music sometime.
Let Me Know If You Liked It
Add Us To Friends If You Like The Music"
Well, I wrote them back and told them I didn't think their music was very "original" and I wouldn't be adding them. Sorry. Now, that I re-read it, I was only supposed to write back if I liked it...whoops. I'm so SICK of getting these stupid messages from bands and "Sexy Ladies", so I have decided to write them all back each time they send me some stupid, "CHECK OUT MY PICKS" or "YOU LOOK COOL, LET'S BE FRIENDS". Since, I have to delete their message, they get to delete mine. Anyways, Protectius sent me two messages back:
First Message:
"hey guess what, we got thousand people plus who think so, and honestly dude, your the very first person to say anything negative, so thanks theres a first for everything!"
Second Message:
"i read what you think are your top favorite bands, never heard of any of them, that doesnt say very much for you or your bands, im a music junkie and never heard of any of that stuff, that' skinda funny , but oh well, our unoriginal music, will probably be more successful than alot of your "Top bands" just so you know, and we got alot of friends that know so too.
so before you write anything negative again, make sure you go fuck yourself first, because you'll get more done with your time.
goodbye and blocked "
Ouch! For the record my "top 8" include: Jessica Simpson, Casanova (the Movie), Boo Berry, Darin, My Brother, George, Tomlab and The Curtains. I'm sorry if you're in my top 8, I guess you will never be popular. Oh Well, sorry jessica.
Good Luck Protecious! Check out their music, if you think it's original (as metal guitars with bad electronics are!) friend them.

I think they deserve the truth. I'm glad you told them what you honestly thought, they should realize that having lots of friends on myspace doesn't mean their music is good...lots of people just want to have a big number of friends, to show off.

you are a champ. i hate getting adds from lame bands all them time. i never reply to unwanted friends, except for one i got from 'WHITEPRIDE US' today. they claim they're 'not a hate group' but simply championing the silenced voice of alleged white discrimination. i could not let that go...

I think you dragging this "issue" on to yet another web page, just makes you seem more childish than you probably are, protecious is a great band, and if you dont like them, just leave it at that, dont piss people off.

This guy that runs this page is a real doosh bag, go through my comments section and find anything anybodys ever said that is similar to what this jackass said.
his taste in music is SHIT, and obviously your a brainwashed robot falling for corporate ran music mainstream that take shortcuts in music biz to suckin dick for fame and selling out their true vision of something actually original.
