Off with Her Head
This week Romel and Mindy came out from GR for a visit. We had a delightful game of croquet at sunset.

After the game we had a bonfire. The close ups of the fire look like fantasy art.
The next day the Carson and Barnes Circus was in town so we attended a perfomance. Here Romel, Kyle and Nicholas pose on the midway.
There were PETA members outside of the circus protesting the exploitation of animals, more specifically elephants. You can read about their side of the issue and watch a video at circuses.com. Carson and Barnes has posted their response on their site, carsonbarnescircus.com.
They also have a blog that records their movement and performances across the country just incase you want to run away with the circus, vicariously.

On saturday, I told annie I wanted to play a moonlight game of croquet. I really meant that I wanted to play at sunset, when it is cool. Why are Kyle and that guy flexing?

That guy is Kyle's brother, Nicholas. I think they were pretending to be Strongmen. Earlier we had discussed the need for every town to have strongmen. A publicly funded group, such as police or firemen, who helped out when great strength was needed in times of an emergency, such as when small children are trapped under trucks. But Strongmen could also help out in general, removing tree stumps and unwanted boulders from yards.
