Costumes and Comics

Over the weekend Kyle and I and his brother, Nicholas, went to the Motor City Comicon. I didn't buy anything due to lack of funds but I did take some pictures of the amazing Tusken Raider clan! The pieces on their masks are real metal...amazing! I wish I could have asked them all about their costumes and how they were made. Perhaps I'll track one down.

Also the 501 Legion was there and had a considerable booth space. I love people with costume obsessions...it doesn't get any better.

That rules. Wish I would've known about it!

AWESOME. I was planning on going there m'self, but alas it fell on the same weekend as the Kalamazoo Animation Festival.

I was even going to rent a table to try and sell my book. I'll get the next one.

The real question isn't if they use real metal but if that is a real baby. Sand babys are so cute.
